Privacy notice

Who we are

This notice covers the TACT website. It explains what personal information the website and our demo bookings collect, and what we do with it, under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). For any privacy question, contact Venco Kruger at venco@startify.co.za or 079 884 9215.

What this website collects

The website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Its only form is the demo request form.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes the technical information needed to deliver the website and protect it from abuse, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. Cloudflare operates worldwide, so this information may be processed outside South Africa.

When you request a demo

The demo request form asks for your name and email address and, if you choose to give them, your practice's name, your phone number, how many clients you have and a message.

The form is processed by our own automation server, hosted by DigitalOcean in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where the EU's General Data Protection Regulation applies. The server emails your request to Venco Kruger through Gmail, so Google also processes it, outside South Africa. The server keeps no copy once the email is sent. If sending fails, it keeps the request so that we can still reply to you.

When you contact us

If you request a demo, email or phone us, we use your name, contact details and what you tell us about your practice to reply, arrange a demo and, if you go ahead, set up your account. We don't sell this information or use it for unrelated marketing. We keep it only as long as we need it for those purposes.

The TACT service

Information that a practice processes in TACT, including its clients' details and SARS compliance status, is covered by our agreement with that practice, not by this notice.
